Amit Shah Inaugurates New 400-Bed Tower at Max Hospital in Delhi

New Delhi : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday inaugurated a new 400-bed tower at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, Delhi, taking the hospital’s total capacity to around 1,200 beds.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended the inauguration as the Guest of Honour. Delhi Health and Family Welfare Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh and South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri were also present at the event.

The newly inaugurated facility is aimed at strengthening tertiary and quaternary healthcare services for patients from Delhi-NCR as well as other parts of the country.

The expanded hospital will provide specialised healthcare services across more than 22 disciplines and has been equipped with advanced medical technologies, including robotic surgical systems.

The expansion is expected to further strengthen access to advanced healthcare facilities in the national capital and provide patients with modern treatment options.
