Smriti Irani Praises PM Modi’s 25-Year Public Journey, Highlights Focus on Welfare

Lucknow : BJP national general secretary Smriti Irani has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year public life, describing his political journey as one centred on service, welfare and nation-building.

Speaking at an event in Lucknow on Monday, Irani said that the Prime Minister’s approach to governance has helped take welfare initiatives to people at the grassroots level. She highlighted his emphasis on reaching sections of society that have traditionally remained outside the ambit of development.

Irani also underlined what she described as the long-term impact of Modi’s style of functioning, saying that his public life has been marked by a consistent focus on governance and social welfare.

Her remarks come at a significant time as the BJP continues to strengthen its organisational structure under its new national leadership. Irani herself has recently returned to the party’s central organisational team as a national general secretary, giving her a renewed role in the BJP’s political strategy.

The former Union minister remains one of the BJP’s prominent women leaders and is expected to play an active role in the party’s upcoming organisational and outreach programmes.
