Digangana Suryavanshi Expands Her Entrepreneurial Portfolio with Beauty Brand Glamirk
Mumbai: Actor and entrepreneur Digangana Suryavanshi is expanding her entrepreneurial portfolio with Glamirk, the beauty brand she has co-founded with Aqueel Ahmed, Poonam Dadhich and Vijay Laxmi Sharma. Already associated with entrepreneurship through women-focused wellness brand Healthy Naari, Glamirk adds another consumer category to Suryavanshi’s growing business interests, while her acting career continues alongside her ventures.
Beauty has been a familiar part of Digangana’s life for years. From experimenting with her mother’s makeup as a child to spending years around makeup artists, products and different looks through shoots, films and public appearances, her relationship with the category has developed through both personal experience and her profession.

Years in front of the camera have also allowed her to observe beauty from close quarters how textures and finishes appear under different lighting, how products perform through long working hours, and how makeup can change according to a character, occasion or simply an individual’s mood.
With Glamirk, that familiarity now finds expression in a brand she is helping build as one of its four co-founders.
Sharing her feelings about the venture on social media, Digangana recalled that having her own cosmetics brand was once “wishful thinking” before Glamirk turned that thought into reality. From trying her mother’s makeup as a child to now being involved in creating a beauty brand, she described the journey with gratitude and expressed her hope that Glamirk becomes part of consumers’ beauty rituals, little moments and everyday stories.
The brand currently has a portfolio spanning liquid lipsticks, nail paints, kajal, sindoor, eyeliner, mascara and makeup remover cream, with more categories planned as Glamirk continues to grow.

The venture comes at a time when Indian consumers are developing a more individual relationship with beauty. Makeup is increasingly about personal expression rather than following one prescribed look. Everyday essentials, occasion-led products and experimentation with shades and formats are all becoming part of the same beauty wardrobe.
Digangana’s professional journey has similarly developed across several areas simultaneously. She established herself on television while still in her teens and went on to become the youngest contestant on Bigg Boss 9. Her acting journey expanded to Hindi cinema with films including FryDay and Jalebi, followed by her Telugu debut with Hippi and Tamil debut with Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale.
Alongside entertainment, she remained committed to academics and completed her MBA from NMIMS Mumbai. Entrepreneurship subsequently became another continuing part of her professional journey, with Healthy Naari in the women’s wellness space and now Glamirk in beauty and cosmetics.
Rather than defining herself through any one role, Suryavanshi continues to work across acting and entrepreneurship simultaneously. With Glamirk joining her portfolio, she is now building across another consumer category while continuing her journey in entertainment.
For Digangana, it is another addition to a career that has steadily brought together cinema, education, entrepreneurship and consumer brands all moving forward alongside one another.
