PM Modi Reaffirms Commitment to Next-Generation Infrastructure for Viksit Bharat

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reiterated the Government of India’s commitment to building world-class infrastructure as a key pillar of the Viksit Bharat vision. Emphasising the transformative role of modern connectivity, logistics, urban development and digital infrastructure, the Prime Minister said that robust infrastructure is essential for accelerating economic growth and improving the quality of life for citizens.

The Prime Minister highlighted that India is witnessing unprecedented expansion in highways, railways, airports, ports and digital networks, creating new opportunities for businesses, industries and employment generation. He noted that infrastructure development is not only strengthening economic competitiveness but also ensuring inclusive growth across regions.

PM Modi stated that the government’s focus remains on developing sustainable, technology-driven and future-ready infrastructure that can support India’s aspirations of becoming a developed nation by 2047. He added that investments in infrastructure are laying the foundation for long-term growth and enhancing India’s global standing.

The Prime Minister further stressed that integrated planning, innovation and public participation will continue to play a crucial role in the country’s development journey. He expressed confidence that India’s infrastructure transformation will act as a catalyst for economic prosperity and social progress in the years ahead.
