Chief Secretary Praise the Ongoing Implementation of MoUs and Strong Monitoring Efforts under Rising Rajasthan Initiative

Coordinated Efforts and Investor Facilitation Take Center Stage in Fortnightly Review Meeting Covering MoUs from INR 100 Crore to INR 1,000 Crore

Jaipur, May 5, 2025: Hon’ble Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant chaired the fortnightly review meeting today to assess the status of MoUs ranging from INR 100 crore to INR 1,000 crore, signed during the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024. The meeting highlighted significant progress, with several investment proposals now transitioning into the groundbreaking and implementation stages. These review meetings are part of the three-tier monitoring structure formulated under the guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma to ensure the smooth execution of proposals signed during the investment summit.

Commending the proactive role of various departments, Shri Pant praised effective monitoring mechanisms and seamless inter-departmental coordination that have been instrumental in translating investment commitments into on-ground action.

The second phase of land allotment by RIICO is set to commence this month. Investors, including those who have signed MoUs with the Government of Rajasthan between March 15 and April 30, 2025, will be eligible to apply for land allotment under the Direct Land Allotment Policy (Phase II), starting from May 15, 2025.

Shri Pant further instructed departmental secretaries to convene weekly review meetings focused on MoU implementation, prioritize serious investors, and ensure the timely resolution of their concerns to expedite project execution. “We need to coordinate more closely with investors to streamline processes and ensure that projects take off without delays,” he added.

Pawan, Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs; Shri Ravi Jain, Secretary, Tourism; Dr. Samit Sharma, Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and Gopalan Department; Dr. Joga Ram, Secretary, Civil Aviation; Ms. Arti Dogra, Chairman, Discom; Shri Rohit Gupta, Commissioner, Industries; Ms. Suchi Tyagi, Secretary, Transport; Shri Rajan Vishal, Secretary, Agriculture; Ms. Archana Singh, Secretary, DoIT; Ms. Shivangi Swarnkar, MD, RIICO; Shri Sourabh Swami, Additional Commissioner, BIP; and other senior officials.

The Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, held from December 9–11, 2024, attracts record investment proposals worth INR 35 lakh crore, marking the beginning of a new era of industrial transformation in the state.
